Dr. Ricardo Gonzalez - Physician After attending University of Nevada's School of Medicine and completing a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson, I returned to Reno to begin my medical career. As a Board Certified Family Physician I strive to offer the best medical care to my patients with almost 20 years of experience diagnosing and treating a myriad of conditions. In addition to Medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. I am also a music enthusiast who enjoys playing guitar.	Leslie Pace - APRN Leslie began working at Peavine in 2019. She brought over 10 years of experience to our team. Leslie is sharp, sweet, and ready to handle even the most complex issues that may arise. We are extremely fortunate to have her working with us.
/> Karri Burgner - APRN After working with Karri years ago, Dr. Gonzalez is happy to welcome her back into our family. Karri brings over 10 years of experience treating a vast array of conditions commonly seen in family medicine. In addition, she brings a warmth and caring that is not frequently found in medical provider’s of today’s world. We welcome our newest provider, she is going to do awesome!	Becky Scarpa - DNP, APRN Becky has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 30 years. Starting out as a nurses aide onto an RN then an APRN. Being the go-getter she is Becky went on to get her doctorate degree. Becky has a busy life with her husband, kids and grandkids. She enjoys traveling, motorcycle riding and a wide variety of other activities. As with Becky’s style, she worked hard and was able to obtain a 3rd degree black belt in martial arts. She shares her skills and abilities with younger generations. Because of her busy life, Becky’s only with us part-time, but always brings a positive, fun attitude with her whenever we see her.
Rhonda - Office Manager Over the last fifteen years, Rhonda and Dr. Gonzalez have worked together in one way or another. Her years of experience in many areas of the healthcare industry make her the perfect leader of our team. She is always available to discuss any patient concerns.	Kristine Cordova - Referrals/Billing Kristine has been with Peavine Family since opening day. During that time she has worn most every hat the office has. She’s always willing to jump in to whatever position is needed. From learning blood pressures, EKGs and general office duties. Kristine continues to keep up with all updates in the world of referrals. Kristine and her husband Jared keep busy with their two teenage girls. They have a daughter starting her senior year in the fall and the other starting her freshman year. Both girls are very active in sports including weightlifting, volleyball, and travel soccer. Both girls have busy babysitting schedules and youth group team leader activities. When not busy with teenage activities, this family loves to be outdoors camping, hunting, and exploring.
Cinthia - Bilingual Medical Assistant Cinthia started with Dr. Gonzalez, as his MA, in early 2021 and has proved to be a wonderful asset to our team, Cinthia is a quick learner and is always willing to jump in to help. When Cinthia is not at work, she’s busy with her family. Cinthia and her wife jazz are busy raising five children between the ages of four and 11. Their children are very involved in school and sports activities. The family recently added a new family member name Luna Luna is a small Yorky and everyone loves her. When not working you’ll find this family spending time together and with extended family. Cinthia and jazz enjoy teaching their children about their culture and the importance of family.	Crystal - Medical Assistant Crystal grew up in Northern Nevada but she's lived in many states; Alabama, California, Colorado, Montana, and Washington state. She loves to travel to new and exciting places but Nevada is home, so she moved back to be closer to her family. Crystal has been a medical assistant for 13 years, joining Peaving Family Practice in August of 2022. However, she has been in the healthcare field for 20 years. She has a passion for helping people, which is why she chose a career in healthcare in the first place. On the weekends you'll find Crystal playing with her 2 dogs and spending time with family.
	Sandra - Bilingual Front Desk Sandra worked in the hotel industry as a receptionist for 2 years, only stopping to welcome her second child in March of 2023. After just two months, she joined the Peavine family in May 2023. While she is working hard to learn as much as she can, she can’t help but think about her newborn and 4 year old daughter at home. Sandra loves scary movies, if you look at her desk it’s covered with posters and stickers from various scary movies. She spends her free time with her little family making memories, taking trips to the zoo’s and aquariums. She is also bilingual, her first language is Spanish. She is excited for this new chapter in life, she’s happy to join the peavine family and learn more about our patients and the medical field.
